Its roots come from a Facebook post by Amanda M., who wrote in part as follows.
“As a community we can make a difference. Most already try to support local however often it’s hard to know who is local and what their business is. If we all give local a go first then as a community we can help our friends and neighbours businesses survive this pandemic.I propose if you are a micro/small business owner, living in 2077, you post your industry and contact details below.
